I loved the courtesy of the staff and in particular our receptionist Wendy. The hotel is so easy going and is not bogged down with too many rules as we were allowed to braai and have everything available to us to use. There was no stiffness or formality and at times it was hard to believe you were staying on a golf estate. There are tennis and paddle courts, golfing, drive range and its so affordable and accessible. I live 40 min away and its close enough for a nice great away. The bucks greets you all the time and you feel one with nature. will definitely be doing The Lodge again

I loved this place. The filter coffee in the plunger in the room was the most excellent treat amd much appreciated. This will be my new place to stay when on business in the Western Cape. The reception staff and the kitchen ladies were awesome. Thank you.

the manager even dropped us around places we needed at no cost , the staff did every thing necessary when a priced item did not arrive from the airport as it was an important painting for the wedding of my nephew , they made all the frantic calls and made sure got it on time a few minutes before the gifting and kuddos to them as i had no phone as a visitor . I Would go back again and again

was pleasantly surprised to find such a gem not far out of the CBD area. We loved the spacious room and the bathroom that had a separate shower and bath. The views were peaceful and the walks felt like you were in the wilderness. We loved the walking pathways as well as a sports center. The breakfast was good but needs more attention as it was a buffet, but I missed my mushrooms and sausage. The receptionist was inviting but the smell of smoke at reception was a concern. I would certainly recommend a weekend away if you don't want to venture too far out.
